About the Artist

As a young emerging artist, I am excited to be sharing my journey in the world of visual arts - a path shaped not only by education but by hands-on experience within the Canberra art community.

I currently work at Q Gallery in both creative and operational capacities - teaching art classes and managing behind-the-scenes tasks that support the gallery's day-to-day flow. This dual role has deepened my understanding of the art world from both an artistic and professional perspective, giving me valuable insight into community engagement, curation, and arts education.

My practice is currently culminating in my upcoming exhibition, Petal After Petal, a collection that explores colour, emotion, and the rhythm of nature through impressionist-inspired floral works. This body of work reflects my love for bold and expressive colour.

Originally from Canberra, my early artistic foundations were built in local art spaces like Lavender Art Studios and Studio MAP at M16 Artspace. These formative experiences nurtured a lasting passion for visual expression. I’m now graduated with a Diploma of Visual Arts from the Canberra Institute of Technology, a program that has allowed me to further refine my skills across painting, ceramics, and photography.

While my style is always evolving, I’m consistently drawn to vivid landscapes, organic forms, and the vibrancy of nature. My work blends traditional and experimental approaches - using texture, mixed media, colour, and light to evoke feeling and atmosphere.

As I move into this next phase of my career, I’m excited to continue growing, exhibiting, and connecting with fellow creatives across the Canberra arts scene and beyond.
